We differ from other agencies because of our transparency, honesty and our quality. Not to mention our offer full suite website solutions and custom marketing solutions.

Our Story

Where We Started

AIM Squad began in 2018 with a problem we kept seeing in our own neighborhoods: good businesses closing, not because the work was bad, but because they had no way to reach customers online.

The mom-and-pop shops we’d grown up around were losing to competitors with worse products and better visibility. One of them was a restaurant we’d been going to for years. The owners told us sales had fallen far enough that they weren’t sure they’d make it through the year.

So we built them a real website, produced a promotional video, set up their social channels, and put genuine offers in front of the people most likely to act on them. It worked. That restaurant has three locations today.

That project defined the company. A website built specifically for one business, designed around how its customers actually make decisions — not a brochure that sat there looking finished. Everything AIM Squad does still starts there.

Where We Are Now

AIM Squad is a full-service web design and digital marketing agency headquartered in Whittier, California. We’ve designed and launched more than 600 websites since 2018 for startups, entrepreneurs, and small to mid-sized businesses across the United States and abroad.

Web design and development remain our core discipline — the thing we’ve done longest and do best. Most of our work is fully custom, built from scratch around a specific business and how its customers make decisions. For businesses that aren’t there yet, we also offer express builds on proven frameworks, so a newer or budget-conscious company can launch something fast and professional now and grow into a custom build later. What doesn’t change between the two is the thinking: the structure, the copy, and the conversion strategy are built for that business either way.

Everything else we offer exists to protect and extend that work — development, hosting, maintenance, SEO, Local SEO, Google Ads, ecommerce, brand and logo design, and AI search visibility — all under one roof, all handled by the same team that built the site.

The name reflects how we operate. AIM stands for Achieving Internet Marketing. The Squad is about working as a single unit toward one goal, rather than as departments passing a project between them.

How We Work

We learn the business before we design anything. What you sell, who buys it, what closes the deal, what your competitors are getting away with. A weak brief sinks more websites than a weak designer ever has.

Built for the business, not from a mold. Whether it’s a full custom build or an express launch, the structure, the copy, and the imagery are yours. No stock photography standing in for your actual work, and no layout you’ll recognize on a competitor’s site.

We design around behavior, not preference. Where attention lands, what earns trust in the first few seconds, what makes someone call instead of leaving. Those are answerable questions, and we treat them as the substance of the work rather than a matter of taste.

The details are the work. Load speed, heading structure, the wording on a button, how a form behaves on a phone. None of it shows up in a screenshot. All of it shows up in whether the site brings in customers.

One team, one goal. “Squad” isn’t decoration in the name. Design, development, SEO, and advertising work as a single unit on your account rather than as separate departments handing a project back and forth.

Straightforward about what we’re doing and why. No jargon standing in for a strategy, no reporting you need a translator for. You should be able to tell whether the work is producing results without taking our word for it.

Who We Work With

Small and mid-sized businesses that depend on their website for real revenue. Roofing and home services. Medical and wellness clinics. Restaurants, caterers, and food businesses. Ecommerce brands. Professional practices, startups, and entrepreneurs.

Some are third-generation family businesses that have never had a website that worked. Some are specialists competing against national companies with far bigger budgets. Some are just getting started and need to look established from day one. What they share is that the website isn’t decoration to them — it’s where the customer decides.

Where We Are

We’re headquartered in Whittier, California, and we design and manage websites for clients throughout the United States and internationally. Most of our work runs remotely, which is how we’re able to take on the right projects regardless of where they are.

Being rooted here still matters. We know the Los Angeles and Orange County markets and what it takes to compete in them, and that experience shapes how we approach local search for every client we have — whether they’re down the street or three time zones away.

Our Mission

Empower Small Businesses,
Transform Lives

Most small business owners don't need more marketing advice. They need the phone to ring. We build the website, the search visibility, and the systems underneath — then stay on to keep them working. Since 2018 we've done it more than 600 times, and when the work comes in, everything else gets easier.

Our Vision

To eradicate the internet of ineffective, unprofitable websites

Too much of the web is decoration: sites that look fine and do nothing. We think every small business deserves one that pays for itself — found in search, clear to a first-time visitor, honest about what it costs. One rebuilt site at a time, that's the internet we're working toward.

Answers to Common Questions

Our track record: 600+ launched websites since 2018, long-term client relationships, and reviews from real business owners you can read on this page.

SEO is about ranking in general search results anywhere in the country. Local SEO is about ranking in the Map Pack and local results for people searching near your business — think Google Business Profile optimization, citations, and reviews. Most brick-and-mortar businesses need both, weighted toward Local SEO first.

Not at all. We’re headquartered in Whittier, CA, and we serve clients across the entire U.S. — meetings happen over Zoom, and every project gets the same process no matter the zip code.

Pricing varies based on your project requirements and goals. After a discovery call, we’ll provide a detailed proposal with a total fixed price — no hourly surprises, no surprise billing.

Most projects take 4–8 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on complexity and revision rounds.

We require a 50% deposit to get started; the remaining 50% is due at project completion. We accept electronic payment via invoice — all major credit and debit cards.

Yes, of course. We record a personal training video showing you how to edit your site and navigate WordPress. Prefer hands-off? Our monthly care plans handle edits for you.

No — you’ll have full control and full ownership of your website, hosting, and data. Our maintenance plans are optional and month-to-month. We keep clients by performing, not by locking them in.

We diagnose before we prescribe. Every engagement starts with an assessment of your business and goals — then we recommend only what will actually move the needle, even when that means recommending less.

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) are about getting your business cited by AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews — not just ranked in traditional search. As more people ask AI assistants for recommendations instead of typing a search query, showing up in those answers matters as much as ranking on page one.

Yes — we build custom ecommerce websites on WooCommerce and Shopify, with the same design and SEO standards as our other websites, engineered for speed, checkout conversion, and search visibility, not just a shopping cart bolted onto a template.

Yes. We design custom logos and full brand identity packages — color palettes, typography, and usage guidelines — so your visual brand and your website are built to match from day one.

We build primarily on WordPress with Elementor, giving you a widely-supported platform with full editing control — and we also work in Shopify when a project calls for it, particularly for ecommerce builds.

Yes — optional monthly care plans cover hosting, security monitoring, updates, and revisions, so your site stays fast and protected after launch. These are month-to-month, not contracts.

You get unlimited revisions throughout the design phase, so we work through changes together before anything is finalized rather than treating the first draft as the last word.

Pricing depends on scope, features, and integrations. After a discovery call, you’ll receive a clear proposal with a fixed cost — no surprise billing. Most small business builds fall into one of our tiered packages, and we’ll tell you honestly which tier fits your goals.

Not at all. We’re headquartered in Whittier, CA and love working with local businesses, but we serve clients across the entire U.S. via Zoom.

Most projects take 4–8 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on complexity and revision rounds.

Yes. We send you a personal training video showing you how to manage your WordPress site — and we offer maintenance plans if you’d rather stay hands-off.

Every site we build ships with SEO fundamentals: clean structure, fast load speeds, optimized titles and headings, and schema markup. If you want to actively rank and grow, ask about our SEO and Local SEO programs.

Yes. If your current site has good bones, we’ll redesign and restructure it rather than rebuild from scratch — we’ll recommend whichever path costs you less and performs better after a free review.

We can. Many clients hand us bullet points and we handle the messaging, page copy, and SEO optimization. If you prefer to write your own, we’ll structure and optimize it for search.

Just your goals, your logo and brand assets if you have them, and 30 minutes for discovery. If you don’t have branding yet, our Logo Design and Branding Book services can build it alongside your site.

Design is how your site looks and guides visitors; development is the code and functionality that make it work. We do both under one roof, so nothing gets lost between vendors.

Primarily WordPress and WooCommerce — the most widely used, ownable, and flexible platform stack for small and mid-sized businesses. If you’re currently on a closed platform, we can migrate you without losing your content or your rankings.

Yes. Rescue projects are common for us — we’ll audit what you have and tell you honestly whether it needs repair or a rebuild.

Yes — CRM integration, booking systems, payment processing, email marketing, and automation workflows are core development work for us, including deep GoHighLevel integrations for lead capture and follow-up.

Yes — we’re based in Whittier and work with businesses across greater Los Angeles and nationwide via Zoom.

Speed is a build requirement, not an afterthought. We optimize Core Web Vitals, caching, and image delivery on every project — because load time affects your rankings, your ad costs, and your conversion rate.

No. We build on standard, open platforms and hand over full access. Many clients choose to stay for maintenance — but it’s a choice, not a trap.

It depends entirely on scope — a functionality fix and a full e-commerce build are different animals. After technical discovery, you get a fixed-cost proposal with no hourly surprises.

You can — but budget hosting means slow load times, shared-server risk, and support tickets that go nowhere. Managed hosting means someone competent is responsible for your site’s uptime. That someone is us.

Yes, we handle the full migration at no charge for hosting clients, with no downtime.

Hosting covers infrastructure. For content edits, updates, and hands-on care, pair it with a Website Maintenance plan.

Yes — automatic daily backups, retained so we can restore your site quickly if anything goes wrong.

Our monitoring flags downtime, and we start diagnosing — usually before you’ve noticed. You’ll never be the one discovering the problem from a customer’s phone call.

They solve different problems: hosting is the infrastructure your site lives on; maintenance is the ongoing care of the site itself. Together they give you one accountable team for everything.

We’ll configure your domain’s email properly (or connect it to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365) so your email and website work together without deliverability issues.

Yes. We host client sites nationwide — local roots, national reach.

Our hosting plans are flat, predictable monthly rates based on your site’s size and traffic — quoted upfront after a free hosting review, with no renewal-price bait-and-switch.

Outdated WordPress sites become slow, insecure, and hackable — and a compromised site can cost far more to repair than years of maintenance.

Yes. We audit it first, fix what’s broken, then put it on a care plan.

Standard edit requests are typically completed within [X] business days; urgent issues are prioritized same-day whenever possible.

Every tier includes updates, security monitoring, and backups. Higher tiers add monthly content edits, performance optimization, priority response, and strategy support. We’ll recommend the tier that matches how actively your site drives your business.

They’re separate services that work best together — many clients bundle our hosting and care plans for one point of accountability.

That’s what the plan is designed to prevent — but if anything gets through, we handle cleanup and restoration as part of your coverage. Your site, our responsibility.

Yes — WooCommerce stores need maintenance most of all, since downtime and checkout bugs cost revenue by the hour. We keep payment systems, plugins, and product pages running smoothly.

No. Care plans are month-to-month. We keep clients by performing, not by locking them in.

Yes — we maintain websites for businesses across greater Los Angeles and nationwide. Everything we do is remote-friendly.

Meaningful movement typically starts in 3–6 months, with compounding gains after that. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is selling something other than SEO.

No honest SEO company can guarantee a specific position — Google’s algorithm isn’t for sale. What we guarantee is transparent work, honest reporting, and strategy backed by what actually moves rankings.

Ads stop the moment you stop paying. SEO builds an asset that keeps producing. The strongest strategy usually combines both — paid for speed, organic for durability.

Programs are scoped to your market and competition. After your free audit, you’ll get a fixed monthly proposal that spells out exactly what’s included — no vague retainers, no surprise add-ons.

If your customers search for what you sell, SEO works — the strategy just changes by industry. Service businesses, medical practices, e-commerce, and professional services each need different keyword and content approaches, and we’ve built programs for all of them since 2018.

You’re not alone — it’s the most common story new clients tell us. Ask us anything about what was (or wasn’t) done on your site; we’ll audit it for free and show you, in plain English, exactly what we find.

Yes. We’re headquartered in Whittier, CA and serve clients across greater Los Angeles and nationwide via Zoom.

The Map Pack is the block of three local businesses Google displays with a map at the top of local search results. It captures a huge share of clicks and calls for “near me” and city-based searches — for most local businesses, it’s the single most valuable real estate on Google.

Lower-competition local terms can start moving in 60–120 days; competitive categories take longer. Local SEO compounds — the businesses that start now are the ones that are hard to displace next year.

Yes, in organic results through well-built service-area pages. Map Pack rankings are heavily tied to proximity to your verified address, which is why we build a strategy that combines both.

Yes — review quantity, velocity, and recency feed Google’s prominence factor, and reviews heavily influence which of the three Map Pack results gets the call. Our clients get a system, not a hope.

NAP is your business Name, Address, and Phone number. When directories, maps, and social platforms show conflicting information, Google loses confidence in your business data — and rankings suffer. Citation cleanup is unglamorous, foundational work, and it’s one of the first things we fix.

Increasingly, yes. AI engines answering “best Local SEO in Whittier” pull from the same signals — reviews, business data, local mentions. Strong Local SEO feeds your AI visibility, and our AEO/GEO service builds on top of it.

Having a profile and having an optimized profile are very different things. Most profiles we audit have wrong categories, missing services, no posting activity, and unanswered reviews — each one a ranking opportunity a competitor will eventually take.

Programs are tiered based on your market, competition, and goals. After your free local audit, you’ll get a fixed monthly proposal — no vague retainers.

It depends on your industry and service area competition. After a free consultation, we’ll recommend a realistic starting budget and a target cost per lead — and tell you honestly if PPC isn’t the right fit yet.

Campaigns can generate leads within days of launch. Optimization compounds over the first 60–90 days as data accumulates.

PPC buys immediate visibility; SEO builds durable visibility. If you need leads now, start with PPC while SEO ramps. The best-performing businesses run both.

Yes — the account, the data, and the history are yours. We don’t hold accounts hostage.

Strategy, build-out, ongoing optimization, landing pages, conversion tracking, and monthly reporting — a fixed fee scoped in your proposal, separate from your ad spend.

Yes — and we prefer it, because your account history has data value. We audit what’s running, keep what works, and rebuild what doesn’t.

It varies wildly by industry — what matters is your cost per lead relative to what a customer is worth to you. We define that math together before launch, so “good” is a number, not a feeling.

Yes — we manage campaigns for local businesses here in Whittier and Southeast LA County, and for clients nationwide via Zoom.

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) focuses on being the direct answer to specific questions — in AI assistants, voice search, and featured results. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) focuses on getting your brand cited within AI-generated responses. In practice they overlap heavily, and we optimize for both.

It’s not replacing search — it’s reshaping it. Google itself now leads with AI Overviews, and millions of buyers start research in ChatGPT or Perplexity. Businesses that show up in both traditional and AI search win twice.

More than ever. AI engines learn from the same web Google crawls — strong content, schema, reviews, and authority feed both. AEO/GEO builds on SEO; it doesn’t replace it.

We run structured monthly tests across major AI engines, tracking whether you’re mentioned, how accurately, and for which queries — reported alongside your SEO metrics.

Yes — AI engines answer local questions using business data, reviews, and web mentions. Local businesses with clean entities and strong reputations are exactly who they recommend.

That’s more common than you’d think — outdated addresses, wrong services, even confusion with similarly named companies. Correcting the sources AI engines learn from is a core part of our entity work.

Entity and schema fixes can influence AI answers within weeks as systems refresh; authority building compounds over months. We baseline your visibility on day one so every change is measured against it.

They’re complementary. SEO gets you ranked; AEO/GEO gets you cited and recommended. If you’re already investing in SEO, extending into AI visibility protects that investment as search behavior shifts.

$399 one-time, plus $75 per month for hosting, maintenance, and support. That’s the full price for a 5-page site — no setup surprises and no separate hosting bill.

Yes, two ways. Browse our portfolio and pick an existing website we’ve built whose layout fits your business, and we’ll rebuild it around your brand. Or start from one of our Express templates, and we’ll customize it. Either way, the layout structure stays fixed, which is what makes a one-to-two-week timeline and a $399 price possible.

Two rounds. When the scope is defined up front and you’ve already seen the layout you’re getting, two rounds is enough — and the limit is what protects your launch date.

We’ll build with professional stock imagery so your project launches on time. You can swap in your own photos later through your monthly plan.

Every Express project has an expiration date in the contract. If your materials haven’t arrived, we build with stock imagery so the site still launches. We’d rather get you online than let a project sit half-finished for six months.

Yes. Every Express site includes hosting, maintenance, and support at $75/month. Unmaintained websites get slower, less secure, and less visible over time, and we’re not willing to launch something and walk away from it.

Yes, and plenty of clients do. Express is a starting point, not a dead end. When you’re ready for a full custom build, the work carries forward.

Every Express site launches with on-page SEO fundamentals in place: title tags, meta descriptions, proper headings, alt text, schema markup, and a sitemap submitted to Google. You won’t launch invisible. Competing for difficult search terms takes ongoing SEO work, which is a separate service.

It depends on how many pipelines, automations, and integrations are involved. You’ll get a timeline with the proposal, and larger builds are phased so the first phase is working before the second begins.

One to two weeks from the time we receive your content. The biggest variable is you: projects that stall almost always stall waiting on logos, photos, or service details.

Every build is scoped and quoted as a fixed-price project after a free discovery call. A single pipeline with a few automations and a full multi-team system aren’t the same job, so you get the number in writing before any work starts.

Usually not. We build on top of what you already run wherever that makes sense. If a tool genuinely can’t support what you need, we’ll tell you directly instead of working around it indefinitely.

No. Automation handles the repetitive, after-hours, and never-gets-done work — the follow-ups nobody had time for. Your team spends its time on the conversations that need a person.

We migrate them. Data cleanup and structuring is part of the build, because automation is only as good as the contact data underneath it.

Yes. Most clients start with the CRM and core automations, then add campaigns, chat, or the AI receptionist once the foundation is running.

Yes. Internal assistants trained on your documentation, custom GPTs, and document or quoting automation are scoped as custom builds alongside or independent of a CRM project.

Yes. Accounts, contacts, and workflows are created under your ownership. If you ever leave, you take them with you.

Yes. We’re headquartered in Whittier and build CRM and automation systems for clients nationwide and internationally. The work runs remotely.
